The eFileIL e-filing system integration with the Cook County case management system is ongoing, and not yet perfect.
You will need to File into a Non-Indexed Case to submit your first filing on an existing case in Cook County, Illinois. Once Cook County accepts the Non-Indexed Case Filing, you will be able to file on that case by clicking File on an Existing from the dashboard!
The Cook County Circuit Court’s will make e-filing available through the eFileIL system (efile.illinoiscourts.gov) for the County Division in October, 2017.
