Important Reminders for Filings
Conform to California Rules of Court: Regardless of whether you’re filing electronically (before August 24) or by paper (between August 25 and October 6), all documents submitted for filing must strictly adhere to the California Rules of Court Title Two. This ensures your submissions are properly formatted and accepted by the court.
The Kern County Superior Court acknowledges that this transition requires patience and cooperation from everyone involved – legal counsel, the public, and justice partners. These temporary adjustments are in place to help ensure the switch to the eCourt system is as seamless as possible, with minimal disruption to court operations.
